Melchior Aelmans is a Lead Engineer at Juniper Networks where he has been working with many operators on the design, security, and evolution of their networks. He has 20 years of experience in various operations, engineering, and sales engineering positions with enterprises, data centers and Service Provider. Before joining Juniper Networks, he worked with eBay, LGI, KPN, etc. Melchior enjoys evangelizing and discussing topics like BGP, peering, routing security, and Internet routing.
Melchior is also active in the RIPE and IETF community and is a board member of NLNOG.

Ferenc Csorba is a Trainer at the RIPE NCC. He graduated from the University of Technology in Vienna with a Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering and successfully completed his CCNA in 2013. Ferenc is responsible for the ongoing development of the RIPE Database Training Course. He gives training courses throughout Europe, the Middle East and parts of Central Asia on a number of topics, including: Local Internet Registries (LIR), IPv6, and the Routing Registry. He also gives presentations at conferences and industry events. Ferenc speaks English, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, French, Hungarian and intermediate level Russian.

Rene Duhr is Senior Account Manager with Interxion in Austria. Over the last 4 years, Mr. Duhr massively contributed to the success and expansion of the carrier hub in Interxion Vienna, through the acquisition of strategic carriers in the CEE region.
Mr. Duhr is since the last 25 years in business and management roles in several industries such as Telecom, IT, IT outsourcing and Carrier in different countries. He could bring his rich sales experience of the different industries to the Connectivity and Colocation business.

Susan Forney is a network engineer at Hurricane Electric Internet Services, which operates the largest IPv6 backbone in the world in terms of number of connected networks. Before joining Hurricane Electric, she was the principal network engineer at the Markley Group, where she developed and operated the Boston Internet Exchange. She was a principal network engineer and architect at at the Microsoft Corporation for 15 years, and also worked as a network engineer at Starbucks and the Boeing Company. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the North American Network Operators Group (NANOG).

Martin has 25+ years of experience in ICT. In different roles at ICT departments in the Austrian public administration he early adopted the strengths of the digital transformation. So he was already in 2018 appointed to join the team at the federal Austrian Computing Center preparing the mobile government initiatives for the first time established Ministry of Digital. He is invited as a speaker at various international conferences across Europe.

Since Jan 2019 he is responsible as Alliance- and Partner Manager for the CEE region at NFON.

Tomas Hlavacek works for CZ.NIC as a R&D programmer. He contributes to several Open Source projects both outside and within CZ.NIC and his focus is Internet routing, measurements and statistics.

Mirjam Kuhne is the Senior Community Builder at the RIPE NCC, a role she?s held since 2009. She collaborates with various technical, security and academic peers within her extensive professional network to strengthen the Internet community within the RIPE NCC?s service region.

Mirjam also maintains and curates RIPE Labs, a collaborative platform that supports innovative ideas and tools for the Internet.

Ernő is a network security expert and head of department at the Institute for Computer Science and Control (SZTAKI), Hungary. He is also the head of HunCERT, a joint undertaking of BIX and SZTAKI. He is active in the fields of incident management, distributed security event handling and secure reference architectures.

Massimiliano “Max” Stucchi joined the Internet Society in 2019 as
Technical Advisor for the European Bureau. His previous experiences are
as a trainer and IPv6 Programme Manager at the RIPE NCC, and before that
he was the founder and technical director of a small Internet Service
Provider and Wireless Internet Service Provider in Northern Italy.

Max is a long time Unix fellow, with a specific love for FreeBSD and
OpenBSD, which he’s been using for around 20 years now. His interest
also cover BGP, Routing Security, DNS and of course, IPv6. If possible,
he tries to contribute to the development of these technologies by
participating in the IETF.

In his past, Max used to be an official football referee for the Italian
Football Federation, but he quit when he moved to the Netherlands for work.
Now, when he’s not in front of a keyboard, you can find him trying to
get back in shape by running or mountain biking in the woods around his
house.

Max speaks Italian, English, French, and is trying to improve his
German. He is based near Zurich, Switzerland.

Nathalie is the Routing Security Programme Manager for the RIPE NCC. She is responsible for all Routing Security related matters, including RPKI and IRR. 
To date, Nathalie has over 20 years of experience in technical roles such as IP Resource Analyst, Product Manager, Trainer and IPv6 Programme Manager, and in her spare time she is the Chair of NLNOG.
